Are you looking for a fast-paced administrative role that supports senior leadership in a global environment? We are seeking a highly motivated, professional to provide administrative support to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Scientific Officer based in Stevenage.
This role will provide you the opportunity to support senior leaders in R&D and to progress your career. Responsibilities of the role include the following:
Assist with managing a complex and detailed calendar of CSO as well as managing international travel arrangements and significant complex major events
Managing incoming correspondence, determining level of priority and action accordingly
Working within the Office of the CSO team to ensure co-ordination of all meetings and events and collation of all briefing documents ahead of meetings
Handling engagement requests and maintaining an engagement log
Managing highly confidential / sensitive information in an appropriate manner with a high level of discretion
Ensuring appropriate technical arrangements are in place for meetings and conference calls including necessary information distributed to appropriate parties
Expense management, ensuring all policies are followed and items are processed within guidelines
Liaise with senior internal stakeholders and with external organisations
Raising Purchase Requisitions and tracking approvals
Providing cover in the absence of the Senior Executive Assistant

Good communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to build relationships quickly
Advanced IT abilities to include Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, use of inter- and intranet, MS Teams, WebEx, and associated technologies
Good team fit (personable, high EQ, integrity, team player) and comfortable working with senior stakeholders and peers
