OK COOL is a creative studio for social media, servicing the world’s top 0.01% of brands.
We attract a certain type of brand client — those that rely on us to connect them to culture through content and use our expert knowledge to help them navigate the new ecosystem of social media platforms.
OK COOL works directly with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitch on social strategies for their key projects, alongside campaigns for cultural powerhouses like Nike, Mr Porter, Bumble, Tag Heuer, Spotify, COS.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage a number of our most prestigious client accounts.
We are looking for someone who is an expert in the social media landscape and can prove a strategic understanding to provide solutions to clients’ business challenges. You’ll be a people person, good at building relationships and constantly on the lookout for smarter, faster and more innovative ways of doing things. Your work will be driven by the key performance indicators set for your clients and confidently flex your expertise through recommendations on growing the account.
This role has three key focuses:
- Client liaison and relationship building
- Managing teams and leading work
- Increasing the strategic expertise of the agency
Your duties include but are not limited to:
WORKING WITH CLIENTS
- Develop strategic social media plans and content strategies to ensure our clients meet their KPIs
Building comms and growth strategies across all social media platforms
Briefing creative and production teams to execute always-on strategies and campaigns
Briefing teams to execute influencer campaigns
Client liaison and relationship building—being a trusted point of contact for client teams
Understanding paid media offerings relevant to client work and confidently selling it in where necessary
Identifying commercial opportunities to upsell services to existing clients
Be a proactive thinker and work with your team to develop new ideas for new projects
Keeping track of all client feedback to ensure your team are aware and implementing it
Tracking and reporting using Iconosquare and Facebook Analytics to provide reports on metrics and continually find ways to improve on those metrics by testing new approaches and formats
Oversight of community managers— ensuring all client content is scheduled accordingly and free of any errors across platforms
Manage and update the overall marketing calendar for the client on a daily basis to ensure all campaigns are running to schedule and no work is missed
Creating case studies for your accounts
Tracking commercials and financial management across accounts, regularly checking P&Ls are driving profit and resource is being used efficiently
TEAM
- Oversee account executives and social media managers to ensure tasks are delegated efficiently
Communicating client expectations to the team to ensure output is in line with the client’s overarching objectives and strategy
Working with the production team to manage and brief external partners such as designers, artists and influential content creators to collaborate with on various projects
Lead and inspire your team to do their best by checking in on their professional development
STRATEGY
- Maintain a strong oversight of platform offerings and developments, constantly identifying ways to enhance client strategy, upsell project and improve creative output
Supporting us in steering the OK COOL brand to global prestige through internal marketing, editorial and other forms of brand promotion, driving revenue and awareness for the studio
Requirements:
- 4-5 years in a client services role
Experience in developing social media strategies
A passion for F1 and motorsport
A strong understanding of marketing communications planning and strategy
Understanding how social and digital marketing fits into the overall marketing mix
A confident point of view on social media platforms and audiences
Commercially minded with the ability to track budgets and ensure profitability
Not afraid to roll the sleeves up and get involved with the day to day tasks when required
Track record of managing a number of global or regional social media accounts for consumer brands
Highly organised with experience managing multiple account manager, creative and editorial production teams
Experience in personal professional development
An understanding of how paid social is used to drive results
A deep understanding of what makes content interesting and shareable across all social channels
