Fantastic Senior Account Manager opportunity to join our experienced and highly successful B2B Sales team. In this role you will be responsible for the long-term growth & account management of our key customers/partners. This will be achieved by leading the relationship including the creation and management of annual plans and building the business for long term mutual benefit, ensuring targets are met.
This role is ideal for a talented and driven Senior Account Manager, someone who has a proven track record of delivering account performance within a key account or partnership team, ideally within the food and beverage sector.

A bit about the role...
Reporting to the Sales Lead, this role is responsible developing and maintaining customer relationships and growing network of relationships across business, providing world class account management to the customer/partner. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Developing and implementing specific customer strategies and joint business plans that are relevant to consumer and customer needs to deliver P&L
  • Cross functional work across the Total Coffee Company to understand and lead collaborative actions on how we drive total Tesco performance across Express, FMCG and store platforms
  • Being accountable for account performance and all customer /partner financial metrics
  • Ensuring that the correct proposition is deployed for maximum return
  • Leading the new and existing contract negotiation and process
  • Facilitating monthly and quarterly reviews with key stakeholders internal and external with remedial plans to identify course of action
  • Interpreting and reporting on insights from various data sources to identify and predict future trends
  • Line management of 2 direct reports – 1 x NAM and 1 x NAE

  • Proven experience of creating and implementing strategies
  • Track record of leading and developing a team
  • Experience of selling across different channels including convenience, multiples, foodservice
  • Knowledge of Retail, Beverages or FMCG sector
  • Multiskilled negotiator
  • Excellent strategic & commercial awareness
  • Strong numeric and data analytical skills
