Job description
We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced full-time Senior Account Manager to join our growing team, offering a basic salary of up to £32-38k per annum, PLUS Commission on new sales, PLUS a performance bonus and a fantastic benefits package, based either in our offices in Grimsby or Lincoln or working from home.

The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Have a passion for driving superior customer service and support to our many and varied clients (ideally within an agency)
- Will be up to date on industry products and trends and have an ability to train and engage the wider team
- Know how and when to upsell and/or cross sell our additional services and products or pitch for new work
- Have a thorough understanding of the web industry, including its history, terminology, services and products
- Experienced in working directly with and managing multiple clients
- Have a minimum of 3 years technical experience working within a creative, web development or digital marketing agency
- Be target and results driven
- Charismatic, approachable and warm mannered – great with clients and colleagues alike!
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team are a given
- Be a great problem solver and solution thinker
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, all with high levels of attention to detail

Reporting to the MD, you will work with our clients to discover opportunities and deliver successful projects and campaigns, whilst ensuring we are delivering the best level of customer service.
After getting to know our clients, their businesses and objectives, you’ll be working with them to identify opportunities and provide solutions to help them improve their processes, sales/lead generation and any other account issues in a fast and responsive manner.
Longer term, you will be working to improve and grow the department through new processes and policies, increasing revenue and introducing new services and products and managing other members of the team.
You’ll also be required to:
- Communicate with multiple clients and ensuring their projects are fit for purpose, good value and to a high level of quality
- Attending meetings (in person, but mostly via video call)
- Prioritising, escalating and responding to clients’ questions/issues
- Upselling and cross selling additional services and products
- Working with potential new clients
- Writing estimates and proposals (projects scopes)
- Pitching for new work
- Working with the wider teams on projects
