We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader to join us as a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Local Area Partnership Manager.
You’ll work across education, health and social care for the benefit of children with SEND.
This is a jointly funded role between Milton Keynes City Council, our Integrated Care Board and BLMK but you will be an employee of the city council.
We offer flexible working arrangements including homeworking.
Role Responsibilities- Ensure that outcomes for children with SEND is at the heart of every multi agency conversation.
- Take responsibility across the Partnership for our preparation for SEND inspection.
- Ensure that funding arrangements for children's packages are fair and equitable.
- Implement and sustain high quality governance arrangements across the partnership.
Ideal Candidate
- An experienced senior leader, ideally with project and programme management qualifications.
- Skilled at managing partners with potentially competing agendas to get the right outcome for children.
- You’ll thrive in a high-pressure environment such as inspection.
- A highly organised individual who enjoys planning in advance and keeping to milestones in order to deliver on time.
- Highly developed knowledge in relation to SEND and an interest in simplifying complex systems for the benefit of children and their families.
