Based in Lambeth Full time position SEN school SEN PMLD role Excellent pay rates We are currently working with a fantastic SEN school that is currently hunting for a SEN Teaching Assistant. The school is really lovely with the building designed specifically for SEN students with ramps and lifts accessible for those with physical disabilities. The school aims to cater and immerse in providing children a great educational experience with sensory rooms, outdoor play areas, sensory gardens, hydrotherapy pools and much more! As a successful SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Adapt and tailor learning materials to suit each student Prioritise each students emotional, behavioural and physical needs Understand the importance of maintaining a stimulant yet fun learning environment Working closely with those that have Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) Various personal care duties As you will be working with those that have moderate to severe complex needs it is desirable that you have some experience working with those who have disabilities. Any experience in a care setting, or SEN clubs would make you an ideal candidate however other similar experiences are welcome too.
