About the role
We are looking for a semi skilled labourer / 2nd person who must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be a key factor, assisting your time served roofer / glazier in reactive and planned maintenance works.
Your job will include:
- Working in teams on planned maintenance and repair roofing and facade contracts.
- Appetite for working at heights.
- Experience in various types of Commercial roofing but not limited to; tile, slate, standing seam (Kalzip) liquid, GRP, felt, single ply and gutter works.
- Experience in various types of external curtain wall, facade, glass renewals and surveys of Commercial fabrics.
- Must be flexible with working hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekends.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills.
- Pride in workmanship and accountable
Desirable Skills
- IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
- Skilled Worker CSCS card
- PASMA WAH and Tower
- First aid training
- Harness Training
- IRATA Rope access training
- SSSTS or SMSTS training
- Horizontal lifeline installation training
- Manual handling training
- NVQ (Slating & Tiling / Sheeting & cladding)
- Liquid roofing and single ply roofing qualifications.
- Reactive building maintenance skills in identifying leaks & rectification (pitched standing seam roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, Liquid GRP roofing and single ply roofing)
Minimum requirements
- Valid driving licence
- Must be over 25 (to be covered by insurance when driving our vans)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Glasgow
We are looking for skilled labourers to join our team and work with our Plant Operations team. The successful candidates will work with plant operators to help with design, installation and maintenance of production equipment; assistance will be provided with basic and complex engineering tasks. We are interested in hiring hard working individuals who have experience in industrial or manufacturing environments who can help us better serve our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Use a jackhammer to break up concrete.
- Make minor repairs to buildings.
- Perform a wide range of physical labor activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
