Remote and flexible working-2 or 3 days per week.
Candidate must be willing to travel to meet with Director at least 2/3 times a month at one of our schools based in London, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Bookkeeper responsibilities include managing invoices, reconciling bank accounts, posting bills and calculating tax payments. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will ensure all business’ financial dealings are accurately and efficiently conducted.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, and QuickBooks Online) is essential
- A good understanding of basic financial procedures
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in Accounting or relevant field is a plus
