An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security / Waking Watch Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at various buildings in the West London area. Officers are a waking watch which is patrolling to detect fire and evacuate the buildings in the event of fire and to report any fire related issues so these can be dealt with. Being proactive and conducting patrols of the buildings and surrounding area. Shift Pattern: On average 56 hours per week. 6 On, 3 Off. Various Day, Night & Weekend shifts as per site rotas. 07.00 - 19.00 / 19.00 - 07.00. Flexibility required. Pay: £11.95 per hour. Person specification: To be considered for this position, you will need: A valid SIA licence A full five year checkable employment history; Industry experience and background; Willingness to be flexible in working hours; Clear and effective written and verbal communication; Able to produce effective reports and maintain effective records;; Customer focused; An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach; Ability to work in a team, but also on own initiative; Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills; Be punctual and Reliable; IT skills Responsibilities: Security will be required to: Ensuring all customer security requirements are met in line with site assignment instructions; Conduct patrolling every hour to detect fire and evacuate the buildings in the event of fire, report any fire related issues so these can be dealt with Checking fire alarm panels for any faults and report; Be responsible for any fire risks to the building or potentially fire risk which are to be reported immediately as outlined in the Assignment Instructions Checking fire alarm panels for any faults and report; Dealing with people within the buildings that may need help and assistance to evacuate the building as outlined in the Assignment Instructions; Report any maitenance issues that may arise within the assignments, for example lift breakdowns and damages to property Liaising with the Fire Brigade in the event of a fire and also their checks on sites Completing any necessary paperwork and reporting The Waking Watch need to have a good understanding of the buildings they are in and the procedures when evacuating the buildings Good teamwork is a must Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom Examples of our fantastic colleague welfare includes: - Great people management Pension scheme A real career pathway Professional development training Company award scheme Awards & Commendations At Kingdom we take pride in our ability to develop our employees beyond their starting role within the company.
