This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and friendly team at the Airbus Defence and Space site in Newport. This role would suit an experienced and resilient administrator who can take on sole responsibility for the security vetting process at the Newport site. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM Follow the UK Government Standards to undertake a variety of core and routine business tasks associated with the administering and progressing of security vetting applications Participate in the implementation of the Security Strategy encompassing tools, resources, suppliers, technologies, planning, contingency planning, and awareness Full administration of the security clearance process, including liaising with candidates and authority, processing paperwork and collecting data ABOUT YOU Experience of working in a busy, administrative role A strong understanding of GDPR Experience of stakeholder management Competent at using MS packages and various databases HOW WE CAN SUPPORT YOU Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time.
