About the role
At Sodexo our Security Team is vital in making sure that we provide a safe and secure environment for our visitors and colleagues at P&G London. We currently have a vacancy for a Security Supervisor to join our team!
You will be responsible for managing your workload of that and your team, ensuring to oversee and assist with the smooth running and operation of the department. As a team you'll carry out patrols around the site and operate the security/CCTV control room. You will also be responsible for responding to calls for service/fire alarms, carry out duties such as issuing room keys and other equipment to visitors and staff, and monitoring CCTV.

A few things about you
It’s important to have a positive, approachable attitude as this is a customer facing role with supervisory responsibility. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be empathetic towards staff and visitors but also be able to investigate and liaise with the police if required.
We want you to bring your great attention to detail, your team spirit and brilliant communication skills when you join us. You must be able to follow instructions and also have great computer skills (mainly the Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, Outlook).
You must hold an SIA front-line DS licence and have previous supervising experience.
If you hold an SIA CCTV licence great! If not we still want to hear from you, course and licence will be provided.

Main ResponsibilitiesSupport to management team
Admin and reporting daily, weekly, monthly and as required for Client reporting
Running of the main reception
Supporting your officers while on shift
Security of site - dealing with incidents, breaches, incident reporting and working with Client staff as required
The Ideal CandidateWide security knowledge
Experience of securing and challenges of a manufacturing site
Speed of response in terms of incident reporting
IT skills to a good standard for report writing - Outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, teams etc
Flexible, personable, reliable and committed with a high level of standards
