Allied Universal are now recruiting for an exciting and challenging Front of House Security Receptionist for a prestigious Corporate Contract in the City of Newcastle.

Your main duties will include Visitor and Access badge management in the reception area and client’s demise. You will be expected to meet and greet staff and visitors and be the first point of contact for any incidents or issues. You will also be expected liaise closely with the Control room team based in Cambridge and assist with investigating faults and door. The role requires you to conduct regular Health and Safety patrols across the demise and report and escalate anything you discover. Throughout the shift the receptionist will manage accurately the reporting of incidents and faults and escalate appropriately. The FOH Security Receptionist will also be expected to manage emails and any other admin duties.
This role will need the candidate to possess excellent communication and competent IT skills. You will need to be confident at both relaying information verbally and completing comprehensive reports.
The candidate must have an enthusiastic, dynamic personality, be very flexible and team orientated, be motivated and be extremely customer focused and professional towards colleagues and staff.
The shift pattern will be a rolling 4on 4off shift pattern completing alternate days and nights.
The successful candidate must hold a Valid SIA Security or DS Licence and have an auditable 5 year employment history
The Successful candidate will need to pass the Clients vetting procedure which will require a 10 year employment and educational history.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- To always provide a Professional Security Provision
- Provide excellent customer service and to meet and greet staff and visitors into reception
- Review and manage all visitors and guests who attend site and ensure their experience is always a pleasure.
- Conduct comprehensive patrols and be a visible presence around the site.
- Ability to deal with situations and incidents in a calm, confident and professional manner.
- Ensure you are aware of current AI.s, SOP’s and H&S documentation in line with Client and AUS
- Confidently escalate and relay any emergencies and Incidents to line manager.
- Competent at completing accurate reports of any incidents/incidents in line with SOP
- To form strong relationships with onsite Facilities Team on site
- Various Admin tasks at the direction of the site supervisor
- Conducting site patrols and reporting any H&S issues found to the GSOC.
