Full-Time Security Officer (Temporary) - Redevelopment SiteLocation: Glossop, DerbyshirePosition Overview:We are currently recruiting for a professional Full-Time Security Officer to provide comprehensive security services for a prestigious development in Glossop on a temporary contract. Working on a 4 on 4 off basis, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring the protection of property, assets, and individuals within the assigned area. Maintain a high level of security and safety by conducting regular patrols and monitoring the premises and its surroundings.2. Perform access control duties, checking the identification of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the development.3. Effectively respond to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and taking appropriate action.4. Handle and resolve conflicts or disruptions professionally and promptly, ensuring minimal impact on the development and its residents.5. Collaborate with emergency services, such as police or fire department, as necessary, and provide assistance during their visits.6. Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting all security-related activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.7. Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any potential security risks, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.8. Monitor and enforce compliance with site rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.9. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries, concerns, or requests in a polite and helpful manner.Requirements:1. Proven experience as a Security Officer on a construction/redevelopment site.2. SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential for this position.3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.4. Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify potential security risks or suspicious behavior.5. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly, making quick decisions while adhering to established protocols.6. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.7. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.8. Physical fitness and the ability to undertake regular patrols and stand for extended periods.9. Flexibility to work on a 4 on 4 off basis, covering 12-hour night shifts, Monday to Sunday.10.
