Are you looking for a Gatehouse Security Officer role, with a workplace like no other? We may have the job for you!
THORPE PARK Resort are currently recruiting for a permanent Gatehouse Security Officer. In this role you will be the first point of contact for site visitors, such as contractors and employees. This role will maintain excellent Site Security standards, ensuring all personnel and vehicles are signed-in correctly and ensuring access for emergency services vehicles on-site, as required. The Security team at THORPE PARK Resort also work closely with the local authorities to carry out various operation, whilst keeping everyone’s safety at the forefront of our business.
What is it we’re looking for in a successful candidate?
- Active SIA licence (SIA door supervisor)
- A full UK driving license preferable
- Proficient in IT including Microsoft Office, e-mail and the ability to learn CCTV systems and our contractor management system
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
- High level of motivation, both individually (self-sufficient with the ability to use your own initiative) and as part of a wider team
- Experience in having to problem solve, remain calm and make decisions quickly

This role is a Permanent variable contract, hourly-paid (£11.42ph), which will include weekends and bank holidays.
