About The Other House
The Other House is a new lifestyle brand of Residents Clubs redefining the hospitality market. Effortlessly combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel services, residents can stay for a day or a year - think hotel meets private members club. It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.
Launched in 2019, The Other House is a joint venture partnership between London Central Portfolio (LCP), leading real estate investment advisory in Prime Central London and APG, the largest pension provider in the Netherlands.
Role: Security officer
The Other House is looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Officer, who can blend the traditional security role with a modern and intuitive guest service approach, making sure that residents, members, guests and team members feel safe and at home in their Other House. We are looking for an individual who will want to develop with the company, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is passionate about sustainability and cutting-edge technology. The Role - Security Officer
- Enforce The Other House policies and procedures to maintain order and a safe environment for everyone
- Ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff and the property at all times. The position requires a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to details and excellent communication skills
- Handling emergency situations calmly and effectively, including coordinating with local authorities when necessary
- Secure the premises by patrolling the property and the surrounding areas; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
- Monitor the Property, including entrances, exits, parking areas to prevent theft, damage or other illegal activites
- Communicate with The OtherHouseMates to inform them of any security related issues
- Assist when appropriate with investigations that need to be conducted
About you
- SIA Door Supervisor licence
- A valid and in date First Aid Certificate
- The ability to operate across various functions supporting all areas of the business.
- Innovative thinker who puts forward solutions in a collaborative way.
- A history of working in a high profile operational role in a supervisory capacity.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire those around you to deliver brilliant experiences.
- Deal with challenging situations and turn it into a positive experience.
