Accounts Assistant
Ww are excited to be working with a compnay who are celebrating their 50th year and are still striving passionately to provide you with innovative solutions that out-perform other methods and machinery within Grass and Turf maintainance.
As the Accounts Assistant you will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the finance department.
This varied role would suit someone looking to progress and learn within a successful business long term to grow and develop their skills.
Workign days are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-16.30pm
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum exp. depending,
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities;
- Raising & processing daily sales invoices in Sage, ensuring correct pricing
- Processing of customer credit notes
- Debt collection and allocation of customer receipts
- Recording of weekly wages in the bank and accounts, and reconciliations
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Monthly debtors reporting
- Closing the sales ledger at month end, including reconciliations
- Posting journals
- Assisting with accruals and prepayments
- To assist all members of the finance team and provide support
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by members of the finance team
- Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing information
Required Skills & Experience;
- Previous experience in similar finance or accountancy roles (3+ years)
- Experience of Sage would be beneficial
- Confidence using Excel
- AAT/ACCA studier or qualified
- Attention to detail
