Accounts Assistant

As the Accounts Assistant you will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the finance department.

This varied role would suit someone looking to progress and learn within a successful business long term to grow and develop their skills.

Workign days are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-16.30pm

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum exp. depending,

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities;

• Raising & processing daily sales invoices in Sage, ensuring correct pricing
• Processing of customer credit notes
• Debt collection and allocation of customer receipts
• Recording of weekly wages in the bank and accounts, and reconciliations
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Monthly debtors reporting
• Closing the sales ledger at month end, including reconciliations
• Posting journals
• Assisting with accruals and prepayments
• To assist all members of the finance team and provide support
• Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by members of the finance team
• Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing information
