We're looking for a Security Officer to join our friendly team at Tunstead in Buxton.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Security Officer you will be responsible for:
Providing security and safety of staff, contractors, visitors, site buildings and their contents throughout a 24 hour cycle, 365 days per year. This requirement means the post holder will be required to work a shift system.
Attend & pro-actively deal with any security or traffic related incident in a professional manner compliant with site safety standards.
Provide a proficient first point of contact for all site visitors ensuring the relevant safety induction is delivered.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Security Officer will have experience of:
- Clean Drivers License
- Previous experience in a similar working environment and/or security field would be beneficial with emphasis on being customer focused
- Use of IT software (Word, Excel, Gmail, PowerPoint)
- Current first aid certificate from a recognised institute.
- Banksman Trained.
- Current SIA License or training will be given to obtain these.
- A good knowledge and appreciation of current security environments, the potential risks and threats and actions to mitigate these.
