Stafffinders have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Nightshift Security Guard at their prestigious office and lab facility in Motherwell! As a vital member of the security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and protection of the premises during nighttime hours.

Your rate of pay and hours of work

The rate of pay for this temporary 2-week assignment is £11 per hour, and the shift pattern spans from Monday to Friday, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Responsibilities within your new role

As the Security Officer on the night shift, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough patrols of the site, ensuring its security, safety, and prevention of any unauthorised entry or suspicious activity. Additionally, you will be accountable for inspecting and securing all doors and exits to maintain security. You will play a key role in minor clearing and tidying up around the facility to maintain a well-organised environment.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The possession of an SIA Licence/Badge is essential for this role, and previous experience as a security officer, especially on nightshifts, is preferred. A strong emphasis is placed on being a good team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive security approach. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable spending most, if not the entire shift, on their feet, demonstrating the physical endurance required for the position.
