Do you have experience in and enjoy helping others, particularly young people? Our security officers are vital in keeping students, staff, visitors and our buildings safe. They are friendly and diligent and work hard to contribute to the success of the University. As part of a close knit and loyal team, you will be involved in patrolling the campus, engaging one-to-one with students who need some support, responding to alarms and incidents and a whole lot more. No two days are the same.

A current full driving licence (manual transmission) is essential as you will be driving University of Plymouth vehicles. This role is also subject to health surveillance with our Occupational Health team.

Interviews are likely to take place week commencing Monday 9 October 2023 and you will be notified if you have been shortlisted or not.
This is a permanent position, working annualised hours of 1924 hours per year.
Flexible working options including job share will be considered.
