Job description
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
To carry out floor patrols-
To assist in escorting any persons acting undesirably off the premises, using the departmental SOP

To ensure access keys are not given without the authority
- To ensure that storerooms and secure areas are kept locked
-
To ensure that all property reported lost on the premises is correctly recorded and enquiries made to trace and restore it
- To carry out checks of associate lockers as instructed, ensuring that the Talent Team are informed
-
To ensure that anyone removing property is in possession of an authorised property pass out form
-
To investigate any allegations or incidents which occur, to assist management and to report all incidents in accordance with procedures and to take such action as is necessary
- To maintain a good relationship with local police, other hotel & estate security teams
- To record and circulate details of suspects or criminal activities which may affect the hotel and inform the duty / night manager, reception, accounts and reservations of any concerns
- To utilise and ensure that security and emergency equipment is operational
- To ensure fire regulations are not breached and fire exits doors and stairs are not obstructed
- To report and inform HODs of any hazards to safety that comes to your notice
- To update the accident book, follow up on all accident investigations
- To ensure any reports to be sent to the Environmental Health Officer via RIDDOR are seen by the DSS first who will always send reports unless advised otherwise
- To ensure that the appropriate manager is advised of customer concerns at all times and to deal with or ensure complaints from customers are dealt with immediately •
- To assist with associate training i.e., fire training, emergency procedures or as requested by the DSS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- First Aid Trained (Preferable)
