Job Overview
You will be responsible for planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of allocated projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
You will work closely with Sales, Estimating, Contracts, Purchasing and Production and will form strong, long-lasting relationships with the client.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project timelines
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
- Assign tasks to internal teams, ensuring each is successfully completed
- Regularly monitor project performance and handle any issues that arise in a timely manner
- Identify and analyse risks and opportunities and highlight and act upon at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure that client needs are met as projects evolve
- Act as the point of contact for the project and communicate project status to all participants internally and externally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure periodical site visits are attended and presence is maintained with the client
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Person Specification
You will be a highly motivated, driven individual who puts our customer at the centre of everything you do. You will contribute to the growth and success of our business through your skills and experience and you will have:
- A proven track record in a similar Project Management role
- In depth knowledge of the construction industry
- A solid understanding of contract management principles and strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Great analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work in a fast paced, and sometimes pressured, environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- A good working knowledge of project management software, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
