Security Officer – Medway

£22,757.28

We are recruiting a Security Officer to join our growing Security Team at Medway Norse.

Within this position you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of buildings, grounds, members of staff and the public at our various sites across Medway. You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining fire prevention procedures.
  • Attending call outs to buildings on your sites and escalating if required.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Carrying out regular internal and external patrols.
  • Maintaining and holding keys to premises.

Our ideal candidate:

  • SIA or Security Guard License as well as first aid training.
  • Previous experience of working as a security officer/guard.
  • A keen eye for detail and an ability to problem solve.
  • Aware of conflict management and how to resolve issues.
  • Examples of times you have provided excellent customer service.

This position is available on a full time, permanent basis where you will usually work on a 4 days on, 4 days off then a 4 nights on, four nights off rota across the majority of our sites. However, some sites only require day shifts. This will average out to 42 hours per week.
