NHS Tayside are looking to appoint a Security Officer who will oversee and provide advice and guidance for NHST Security Services.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a background of delivering Operational Change and Project Management within a Security/Emergency Service or have experience of delivering change within a large and complex organisation.
The role of Security Officer reports to the Soft Facilities Manager - NHS Tayside, and contributes to the strategic planning of Security Services across NHS Tayside and provides an advisory service to the Head of Soft Facilities and Site Managers, who are delivering services across a wide range of support and clinical services, across a wide geographic location.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and report writing skills, along with a range of experience in project management and general management skills, with a good understanding of Security requirements for a large and complex organisation.
Ideally the candidate will have a background in Security or similar service, with experience gained at middle management level within a large complex organisation, preferably in the Health Sector or equivalent. The postholder will have a strong commitment to performance management and be able to support and influence their staff accordingly in conjunction with the NHS Tayside code of positive behaviour.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week
