Job description
Lexnis Group has an opening for a Security Officer in Tilbury. You will be working Saturday & Sunday Days or Night Shifts
Duties included but not limited to;
- Managing access control for employees, visitors and contractors
- Patrolling the site on foot to deter and detect stock loss
- Dealing professionally with incidents including positive searches
- Responding to customer requests and queries
- Maintaining records using computer- and paper-based systems
An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
- Five years’ checkable history and references
- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
The following would also be useful, but are not essential:
- Experience in a similar role
Full training, uniform, health and safety equipment (PPE), and free car-parking are provided.
