Position: Security Officer
Pay Rate: £110
Shift Pattern: Fully Flexible Monday-Sunday Day and night
Location: Watford/Hertfordshire, Wembley, Borehamwood
J7 Security are looking to recruit a security operative to service our security portfolio in and around Watford, Wembley and Borehamwood.
Apply if you are a highly motivated and flexible individual. Must have good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, must be comfortable writing reports. Previous experience in this field would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be delivered.
Main responsible/Duties
· Undertake security checks/ patrols in and around the premises. To prevent Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) on developments. Report findings to relevant parties.
· Respond and deal with Emergency situations in accordance with procedures
· Liaise with local Police where needed
· Perform any other duties required by J7 Management or client.

· Attention to detail with a focus on security
· Confident dealing with emergency situation in accordance to procedures

Position: Fire Marshal
Pay Rate: £110 per day (Self Employed)
Location: London
Working Hours: 12 Hour shifts 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00 (No paid lunch break)
J7 Security are looking to recruit a waking watch operative to service our waking watch portfolio in and around Saffron Walden. Apply if you are a highly motivated and flexible individual. Must have good interpersonal and excellent communication skills, physically fit to carry out patrols, must be comfortable writing reports. Previous experience in this field would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
The duties of a waking watch operative includes a 24/7 presence in buildings, you will be expected to conduct patrols across all floors of the building to ensure there is an early detection of fire or smoke. In the event of any emergency, you are expected to carry out an evacuation and notify the fire service. Waking watch operative is expected to follow the site evacuation plan in a safe and controlled manner.
Main responsibilities/duties
- Conduct regular patrols both internal and external every 20-30 minutes
- Identify any fire hazards, combustibles or obstructions
- Investigate any cause of concern, report any maintenance issues to the correct parties.
- Ensure fire escape route is free from hazards, combustibles, or obstructions
- Report all findings on company reporting platform
- Provide accurate reports of any damages/faults found on the property whilst carrying out patrols
- Follow pre-planned evacuation procedure this includes Personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP) for vulnerables on the site.
- Call Fire service immediately in an event of an emergency
- Assist the fire service with any duties they are carrying out whilst on site.

- Good level of communication, good level of spoken and written English, Good interpersonal skills
- Fire Marshall Certificate
- SIA License
