What’s the role about?

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the protection of people, property, and physical assets from actions and events that could cause damage or loss. You will support the resilience and business continuity process for the campus, supporting other teams as required with security services. This role entails providing Security support across 14 buildings on our Bracknell campus, covering an area of approximately 60 acres.

Please note, this role will work an average of 42 hours a week: 4 days on, 4 days off and will cover night and day shifts.

What will you be doing?

  • Monitoring site security and integrity from the Security Control Room and on patrol.

  • Fully investigating incidents and taking necessary action escalating where required.

  • Assisting emergency services attending the site.

  • Maintaining shift communications through a variety of channels; radio, phone and written.

  • Understanding and demonstrating full compliance with building Opening and closing Procedures to minimise risk to our business.

  • Understanding and using the relevant systems & procedures to prevent theft or damage of Partnership property. And makes recommendations for improvement

  • Taking an active part in supporting Partners who use the Head Office Campus.

  • Assisting in the inspection and compliance measurement of the Campus buildings.

  • Acting as the Chief Evacuation Marshal during drills and evacuations as required, completion of post evacuation reports.

  • Playing a vital role in the recovery of the business in case of service failure or other situations, providing assistance where required to recover the campus.

  • Ensuring customers are at the centre of all operational decisions, through role modelling outstanding customer service.

  • Acting with confidence and professionalism.

  • Having comprehensive knowledge of how the campus operates and relevant Partnership procedures.

  • Providing advice and guidance to Campus users.

  • Delivering outstanding service to Partners, customers, visitors and contractors through all channels.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Good knowledge of CCTV, access control and current security systems.

  • Crime prevention experience.

  • Proven investigation skills.
