Job Introduction


A leading provider of IT infrastructure services requires an in-house Security Officer. Based in Hatfield, you will join a friendly team supporting operational flow and facility safety. As part of the team based in Hatfield, you will be responsible for providing a pro-active professional security presence.


What you will be doing


Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all security policies and procedures are being followed. In addition you will be carrying out regular CCTV checks and patrols of the building, whilst meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring they sign in and have necessary passes. You will also be supporting the building Manager and facilities team in their day to day operations of the branch. You will be working an average of 57 hours per week with the following shift pattern of 3 days, 4 nights and 3 rest days and then 4 days, 3 nights and 4 rest days.


What we're looking for

  • Previous security awareness and knowledge
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Proficiency with computers and software, including CCTV
  • Awareness of customer service principles and practices
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • An awareness of health and safety
