Job description
We are recruiting for a Security Guard to join our Security team!
What’s the role?
Whilst offering world class service to our customers, you will remain vigilant when walking round store of potential threat. Carrying our undercover operations as well as monitoring CCTV footage.
Your daily role will include;
- Project a smart, efficient and helpful image with appropriate uniform
- Lone working throughout the night
- Deter Theft and Criminal Damage within the store
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Comply with the Assignment Instructions at all times
- Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
- Working as part of a team to fulfil customer requirements
- Provide Reassurance for Staff and Customer’s safety
- Interact positively with Customers
What are we looking for?
- Previous security experience in a retail industry is essential
- Expereince of working nights is desirable
- Ability to lone work and remain motivated
- Show great communication skills
- Ability to show high attention to detail
- Ability to read body language effectively
Other role details:
- This role is on a fixed term basis until 01/01/2024 offering a mimimum of 30 hours per week.
- The right candidate would be flexible in their hours to incorporate days, evenings, nights and weekends.
- Day shifts are around 10hours.
