Brief/Requirements: -
We are seeking a well presented, experienced security professional to join our security team looking in after a portfolio of high-end residential properties for a private client in Belgravia.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, be reliable and smartly presented, with a minimum of 10 years’ security experience; an SIA licence and full UK driving licence is preferred. Previous experience of working with high-net-worth individuals and their residential properties would be advantageous.
Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 09:15 – 17:45, however as part of the security team on a shared rota basis you will be required to be ‘on-call’ during evenings and weekends to respond to any out of hours security issues.
Duties/Responsibilities: -
Under the guidance of the Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective security of all properties and staff. You will act as a responsible, impartial person showing empathy towards staff where required, with the ability to act decisively and firmly with staff and contractors when the circumstances demand it. The main duties include:
· Report immediately to the Security Supervisor or, if necessary, directly to the General Manager, anything which in any way compromises the integrity of the security function of the organisation.
· Carry out daily property checks, checking all alarm systems, keys, locks, doors and windows in accordance with the security check list.
· Immediately report any issues with alarms, CCTV or house security (i.e.locks etc) to the Security Supervisor.
· Responding to alarm call outs as required, and carrying out regular inspections of CCTV, alarms, and other monitoring equipment.
· Act as focal point for any incidents and investigations involving security; producing incident reports as required.
· Carrying out pre and post visit security checks of properties when owners are in residence.
· Assisting with the management of all security guards and caretakers, to include spot checks of all retained and contract security staff to ensure shift duties are being carried out to the required standard.
· Ensure security logbooks and handover diaries in properties are being completed correctly.
· Providing temporary stand-in cover in the event of last-minute staffing problems.
· Assisting with overseeing routine maintenance of intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV in accordance with pre-determined maintenance schedules.

Salary: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
