The Safety & Security Manager will
Report to the Deputy General Manager
Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures
Create and enforce policies and procedures that promote a safe and secure work environment.
Establish emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, and implementing preventive measures with support of the Security Manager and Health and Safety Manager
Manage security operations: Oversee the day-to-day security operations, monitor surveillance systems, manage security incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
Develop and implement emergency response plans, including protocols for handling diverse types of incidents
Conduct security assessments: Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities to identify areas that require improvement
As Safety & Security Manager you will have
Experience of being a Safety & Security Manager
An SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV Operators license
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in security, law enforcement, or related field within the hospitality industry or a similar setting
Strong understanding of safety and security principles, procedures, and best practices. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is essential
Ability to identify potential risks, conduct risk assessments, and develop risk mitigation strategies
Excellent communication skills to effectively train and educate staff, provide clear instructions during emergencies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess situations, make critical decisions, and respond appropriately to security incidents
You must have worked in hospitality/security, live in the UK to apply for this role and have the right to work.
