IT Security Manager - Brighton / WFH / Hybrid

An amazing financial services company that make the working environment somewhere you want to come to work, seek an experienced IT Security Manager, from either IT Security background or within a senior SCCM position, with a strong focus on team leadership.
Purpose of the IT Security Manager position:
- This permanent role is to lead the implementation of a robust automated patching solution and automated client build process via SCCM.
- This role is very much a Team Lead for an experienced large team of 20 plus engineers - they are looking for leadership experience and a technical grounding within SCCM and/or Vulnerability Management.
Key accountabilities for the IT Security Manager position:
· Lead the team to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively managed.
· Liaise with internal and external security teams to reduce vulnerabilities.
· Oversee all Microsoft SCCM Deployments.
· Ensure patches are deployed effectively across the estate.
· Lead troubleshooting and remediating of software application related issues.
· Manage and maintain MDM (Mobile Device Management) and SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager) platforms and services.
· Manage and maintain vulnerability management platforms.
· Manage and maintain security toolset upgrades.
· Research, design and deliver infrastructure solutions and systems as part of formal Project teams or working independently on Small Change Requests.
· Ensure team’s processes are formally documented to agreed standards, including but not limited to maintenance of a Knowledge Base system.
· Support and maintain all production, test and development infrastructure and systems, providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of servers and networking to meet SLAs.
Skills and experience required for the IT Security Manager role:
· Demonstrable experience in effectively leading teams in remediation of vulnerabilities both on-premise and cloud based.
· Experience of mentoring team members to develop their skills.
· Extensive experience of building strong relationships.
· Extensive knowledge of vulnerability monitoring toolsets.
· Extensive and demonstrable experience in SCCM design, implementation, and support.
· Experience of managing a patching methodology via SCCM for Servers and Clients.
· High level of Documentation skills.
· Knowledge of current Window Server and Client Operating systems.
· Microsoft Cloud Portfolio.
· Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Administration.
· VMware vSphere Operating System Virtualisation.
· Scripting (PowerShell).
