The Role...
Security Guard - £16ph
As an experienced door Security Guard, you will welcome our members in a polite manner, manage the entry flow. and routine patrols around the venue will be part of the day-to-day as well as monitoring guest behaviour and communicating with the manager on duty.
You will assist the operations management with refusals of service and ejections - you will calmly ask any trespassers to leave and report & record all incidents as and when they occur.
You will pay attention to health & safety and actively try to minimise risk in potentially dangerous areas.
You will ensure venues' licensing incident logs are completed to a high standard.
You will contribute to a nightly intelligence report sent to the Head of Safety and Security.
You will also support the local council, police & licensing authorities.
Measures of Success:
- Keep any behaviour issues at a minimum.
- Improve site management security survey satisfaction scores.
- Ensure all licensing logs, incident records, lost property logs or any other procedural paperwork are kept in good order and suitable for review by management at any time.
Experience Required
- A friendly and polite approach to members and guests
- Can do attitude
- Comfortable working predominantly evenings and weekends
- Role is to provide security cover across 7 venues in close proximity to each other in Soho. However, there may be occasional requirements to provide support to other regions in UK, particularly East and West London sites.
Required:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
- Passionate about security with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
- Basic IT and English language skills enabling effective report writing and record keeping.
Preferred:
- First aid qualifications.
- Experience of upmarket venues, particularly membership-based ones.
