Job description

Eventsec are recruiting for full-time permanent Security Guard at the National Stadium, Windsor Park.

Key responsibilities

· Provide a high-quality customer care service to all.

· Adhere to agreed customer policies and site Assignment Instructions.

· Staff the Reception Desk, answer the telephone and ensure staff sign in and out.

· Develop and maintain relationships with client.

· Display positive image of Eventsec and the Irish Football Association.

· Know the layout of venue/site and be aware of available facilities, first aid points and location of entrances and exits.

· Safeguard the venue/site and maintain key and radio logs.

· Control access and egress to the venue/site including locking/unlocking gates and doors.

· Maintain the delivery log.

· Carry out regular patrols throughout the site.

· Encourage a safe environment for all.

· Monitor the behaviour of staff and visitors so far as reasonable.

· Assist in the evacuation of all persons in the event of an emergency.

· Monitor CCTV and alarm systems as necessary, setting alarms when appropriate.

· Liaise with emergency services and PSNI when necessary.

· Maintain and distribute adequate reports and records.

· Carry out handover checklists.

What you will require:

o Valid SIA Security Guard License

o Strong communication skills both written and oral

o The ability to deal calmly with emergency situations

o Ability to keep clear written and electronic records

o Good IT literacy skills

o Excellent customer facing skills

o Good observation skills with high levels of concentration.

Salary: £9.65 per hour (Currently under review)

Licence/Certification:

  • SIA Manned Guarding or DS Licence
  • Security: 2 years (preferred)
