Therefore you must be professional, punctual and presentable.To apply for this role you must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor license with a minimum 2 years security experience as essential.Communication ability and intuitive security capability will help in the application for this role. You will communicate closely with operators in our control room to respond at short notice to sites that need cover and assistance, taking instruction from the control room and managers, understanding assignments instructions and writing clear reports.This role is would involve working on various sites across the North West in an ad hoc capacity. Typical shift time will be approximately 21:45-08:00 but there are sometimes variations on this so flexibility will be an advantage.Some of the shift tasks will involve:Maintain the safety and security of customers, colleagues, visitors, contractors as well as the premise and equipment.Provide assistance, directions, answer questions and otherwise serve as a central or visible source of information for residents, couriers, visitors and third party vendors.Prepare and participate in clear handovers from outgoing / incoming colleagues.Manage visitor access to the premises, as appropriate.Identify and report emergency repairs and log these through the appropriate channels.Take appropriate immediate action in emergency situations.Appropriately manage safeguarding and anti-social behaviour concerns; ensuring the safety of customers.Complete building patrols every 1 hour (unless otherwise specified) evidencing checkpoints with RFID, QR or similar type technology.Complete inspections of the grounds, as appropriate.Monitor Live CCTV at certain locations and report any incidents accordingly.Criteria (experience/certification):Safeguarding for vulnerable people (adults and children)EFAW (Essential - could be provided)Basic fire safetyHealth & SafetyConflict ManagementAs a suitable candidate you must understand:Lone working conditionsCustomer safety policiesIncident reporting and report writingWithin the company you will receive all the support you need from our National Command Centre based in Wavertree.
