About you:
One of the essential requirements is a CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) or SIA qualification or the ability to achieve this within 6 months of start date.
Are you a reliable and conscientious person, with a good work ethic and a keen attention to detail
Do you have some experience of working in a team and providing an excellent service to others
Are you capable of developing good technical knowledge of our various CCTV systems and this is matched with well-developed people skills
Do You relish a new challenge and expect the opportunity to make a difference
Are you're comfortable analysing visual images, without compromising your keen eye for detail.

The role:
This key role, working as a member of the Security Control Team, will give you the chance to make a real contribution to improving public safety and you will work with our partners, including the police, to review recorded images in order to help prevent crime.
Directly responsible to the Team Leader, you will work in a team to develop new service contracts, standardise reporting and every aspect of CCTV monitoring.
You'll help the team to engage with other service teams and regularly be providing information to others in the Council. When required, you'll deputise for the Security Control Room Operational Team Leader.

You'll be based at our Bath City centre offices working a shift pattern across a 24/7 operation as per the rota. Bath has great public transport routes and parking options.
Hours: average of 38.5 per week on rota basis (3 on 3 off)
Salary: Basic pay + contractual overtime and enhancements for unsociable hours
