Post: Finance Administrator

Upon completion of assessments, candidates will be shortlisted.

Responsible to: Finance Manager

Shift Pattern: 9.00 am and 5.30 pm (37.5 hrs per week)

This role is self employed and permanent.

Purpose of the Post:

To provide Project Managers and the staff teams with administrative support, this will contribute to the effective running of the Projects.

To work within Aspects policies and procedures at all times and undertake any other tasks consistent with the objectives of this post, and commensurate with the grade.

Duties:

  • To provide the Project Managers and staff with administrative support.
  • Providing administration and finance support all round as required.
  • Creating and processing invoices.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • identify and reduce costs
  • Data entry.
  • General filing.
  • Completing paperwork and excel spreadsheets.
  • Liaising with Councils and external agencies.
  • Improving the financial controls within the company.
  • Drawing up the company’s monthly budgets based on the necessities of the business.
  • Controlling day-to-day income and expenditure.
  • Providing financial information and deducing the repercussions for business performance and funding needs.
  • Ensuring that financial rules are being followed by and within the company.
  • Preparing accounts for payments received and purchases made by the company.
  • Preparing financial reports summarising and estimating the company’s financial position, such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in finance is essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Competent in ALL MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated and proactive

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £10.50 per hour
