Security Compliance Consultant

Location: Cheltenham

Please Note: Due to the nature of client work you will be undertaking, you will need to be willing to go through a Security Clearance process as part of this , which requires 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.

In our team you will learn:

  • Skills to implement security compliance measures to complex technical transformation and capability enhancement projects

  • Experience working within cross functional teams

  • Skills across a range of Cyber Security domains

As a Security Compliance Consultant you will:

  • Provide expert security compliance advice, guidance and support to both technical and non-technical teams within complex projects

  • Assess and articulate project, information and business risks and propose proportionate mitigations

  • Produce project deliverables such as threat and risk assessments, security policies and procedures, security assurance management plans and accreditation evidence

  • Introduce holistic security compliance processes to projects, encompassing both technical and procedural controls


The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • Demonstrable experience of working to HMG and MOD Information Assurance (IA) requirements and security accreditation processes, including Secure by Design

  • Familiarity with NIST, NCSC guidance and HMG policy such as GovS 007

  • Knowledge of Industry best practice and applicable standards for Cloud Security

  • ISO 27001 qualification and experience of implementing Information Security Management controls and processes

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills

Set yourself apart:

  • Relevant qualifications such as CISSP, CISM or similar

  • Experience of providing security compliance expertise to projects delivering complex technical cloud based solutions and platforms
