Sheffield Hallam University are recruiting for a Security Attendant Porter, the job is a key role in ensuring efficient security, cleaning, and porterage across the university estate; working collaboratively to maintain the University environment and support core business delivery. You will liaise with your co-workers and domestic assistants within the facilities team, to ensure that all functions are performed in an efficient, proactive, and professional manner; work planning in conjunction with their relevant teams, to ensure effective service provision. Experience of Facilities Management, including security, cleaning or porterage is essential, for example, security patrolling, waste management, cleaning, fire marshalling, and conflict management. You should also be familiar with a range of associated administrative activities, such as system test logs, stock control, and fault & request reporting systems. The role will be predominantly based at our Attercliffe campus; however a degree of flexibility is needed to cover holidays or sickness. The role is to cover shifts from 15:00 hours to 19:00 hours Monday to Friday, a degree of flexibility is needed to cover holidays or sickness.
