Job description

Wickham Construction Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Working Groundwork foreman, who should have experience in running jobs.

• Start Date: Immediate
• Rates £20 per hour (dependant on experience/tickets)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Accountabilities:

Carry out general civils work and various tasks relative to the water/wastewater sector, as directed by the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor, including but not limited to:

• Concrete Finishing
• underpinning
• pin kerbs
• foundations
• Flags and block paving
• Fencing
• Small Landscaping
• Work independently as well as part of a team

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years groundwork experience - Essential
• A valid UK driving licence – Essential
• In date CSCS card - Essential
• Confined Spaces (Medium Risk) – Preferred
• SSTS - Preferred
• NRASWA Streetworks - Advantageous
• Manual Handling - Advantageous
• Abrasive Wheels - Advantageous
• First Aid - Advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Blaydon-On-Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
