Security Analyst (m/w/d) London, England
Job description
We are looking for as soon as possible for an experienced talent as a Security Analyst for our brand new location in London. As a Security Analyst, you will be a part of a small but highly experienced Security Operations team reporting to the CISO. You will play a vital role and be responsible for detecting and responding to security alerts on a day-to-day basis, identifying and remediating risks, and ensuring the protection of both the company’s and client’s systems and data. Your responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate and evaluate security incidents, logs, and alerts
- Conducting investigations and root cause analysis into security incidents
- Reviewing change requests and impact assessments
- Conduct vulnerability scans and manage results
- Providing advice regarding security related aspects of our cloud-solutions
- Occasionally participate in audits such as for SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001
- Remain up to date with the latest cyber threats and how they may affect our organisation.
Your skills
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an Information and Cyber security analyst role with exposure to cloud and windows operating systems
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, best practices, and good industry standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
- Working with colleagues across different levels of seniority
- Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM solutions, and vulnerability scanners
- At least 1 Cyber/Information security certification or working towards achieving certifications such as AZ-500, Security +, SSCP or CISSP
