Job description
Outline
To operate and carry out the administration of security systems, including but not limited to card access
systems, emergency contact database, HR databases and purchase/ ordering systems, ensuring that all
matters are dealt with promptly and to provide a service that exceeds customer expectations. Additionally,
assisting with other general administrative tasks, when asked by management. This may include assisting the
broader team, note taking and issuing security communications.

Key Results Area
Security:
-
Liaising with other departments to maintain site access control systems, ensuring that only legitimate
persons are granted access. - 100% compliance of production of site access cards to global PES policy.
- Routine audits of access lists with area owners and regular cleansing of security database against non-
badge activity.
- Carry out and witness drug and alcohol testing as requested by management.
- Administrative support to any G4S investigatory or disciplinary hearings.
- Fully understand the use of relevant I.T equipment and the GSK I.T security policy.
- Support on site Security teams should there be a requirement.
- Customer Care:
- Display an outstanding level of customer focus and understand the reasons for it.
- Excellent communication skills with individuals on all levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- To take responsibility for issues that staff and visitors may have and assist in finding a resolution.
- Display a high standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of both GSK and G4S.
Emergencies:

Be able and willing to provide support to the broader security team during onsite emergencies, such
as fire evacuations or first aid incidents.
Administration:
-
Maintain logbooks and comprehensive records of access cards issue, as required by the global PES
policy.
- Maintain and provide a customer booking process of appointments for security services, using MS
Teams/ Outlook, whilst being able and willing to accepts AD Hoc requests and the ability to facilitate
the fast track of VIP requests.
- Issue temporary access cards for staff from both inside and out of the EMEA region and understand
the difference.
- Performing HR responsibilities through use of employee screening platforms
- Answer email and telephone call pertaining to the role.
- Maintain a stock of all required security equipment, including access cards and accessories,
stationary, and consumables.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.

Post holder must be able to demonstrate:

Good literacy and communication skills and have good verbal and written English.
- Posses a fantastic telephone manner
- Be computer literate in basic programmes, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Excellent customer service and awareness.
