Humphries Kirk is a leading South Coast law firm with offices across Dorset and Somerset.
We are now seeking a full-time team member to provide our small Family team with comprehensive admin and typing support. The role will be based at our Crewkerne office.
This position is suited to someone with previous experience of working in a support role in Family law, or to someone who has relevant secretarial/ admin skills gained in another discipline of law, who wishes to transfer their skills into Family law.
Alternatively, the role may appeal to someone at entry level who possesses the relevant admin/ secretarial experience gained in a professional environment, seeks to transfer their skills into a legal environment and undertake on-the-job legal secretarial training as a Trainee Secretary. There are great opportunities for progression for those who would like to grow their career within this highly complex but fascinating area of law.

Salary:
From £18,500 - £20,000 for Trainee Secretary (dependent on skills/experience)
From £22,050 - £25,000 for skilled Legal Secretary or Support Paralegal

Other info: Hours: Weekly working hours are Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm with 1 hour break (35 hours) - A flexi time scheme is also available after the probation period which enables employees to flex their start, finish and lunch times (subject to manager approval).
