The Cancer Services Admin Team is pleased to welcome a Secretarial Assistant/Typist with excellent typing skills to join the team on a part time basis at Peterborough City Hospital.
You will be a valued member of a supportive and inclusive team while providing typing and admin support to the Haematology Admin team, helping to safe and efficient service.
As an experienced Secretarial Assistant/Typist with fast and accurate typing and audio skills, you will be responsible for completing a high volume of audio typing on a daily basis, as well as performing admin duties such as filing information, opening the post, and liaising with the Haematology/Oncology Outpatient Department.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels while developing and maintaining communication links with the team, outpatients and reception staff. You will ensure that confidentiality is always maintained, and the security procedures are followed.

You will provide high volume of audio typing and admin support to the Haematology Admin team.
General administrative duties include significant daily volumes of audio typing using EPRO, printing of clinical letters, printing reports, filing of information into evolve, collect and open all post, and file any correspondence within the event packs.
