Armagh and Dungannon Family Resource Centre is a partnership between Barnardo's and the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. We provide assessment and therapeutic support services to vulnerable children and families.
We are seeking to recruit a part-time secretarial assistant to join the administrative team in Armagh Family Resource Centre, who play a key role in the delivery of our services. The successful candidate will undertake a range of administrative duties, including a significant amount of typing and will be responsible for supporting a social work team.
The successful candidate will be required to prioritise tasks and work with a range of demands on their time.
Excellent communication and IT skills are essential for this role.
The role will include:
- maintaining records using Microsoft packages and internal recording systems.
- providing telephone / reception support.
- processing invoices.
- working with other agencies and Barnardo's projects.

Barnardo's offers a reward package that includes a competitive salary, 26 days annual leave and 10 statutory/public holidays (pro-rata) per annum, a contributory pension scheme, an additional holiday purchase scheme and staff discounts.
Location: 39a Abbey Street, Armagh BT61 7DY
Hours: 30 per week. Working pattern: Tuesday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Salary: £21,000 - £22,533FTE, (salary will be paid pro rata for part-time working).
- Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band, however further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates.
