Job description

Avaliable Job Today Starting Weekday Rate is £11 per hour,

- Any work completed over the weekend is at £16.50 per hour

- Any work completed during allocated night hours is paid at £19.80 per hour.

Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week (normal hours are 40 hours a week worked flexibility between 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Sunday, in accordance with the weekly roster) with overtime and weekend work required.

This role will be reporting to the Crew Manager / Construction Managers and under direction be primarily responsible for assisting in erecting and dismantling temporary and permanent grandstands.

The projects can be spread across the UK and in some cases globally, with builds/dismantles taking anywhere between a couple of days to a couple of months to complete. As a result, this will require frequent travel and staying away from home, for the longer builds we arrange for crews to alternate weekends travelling home, but flexibility with schedules would be required.

The role will involve carrying out physical labor on site, so ideally a background in a previous laboring role or a role where you can demonstrate you are confident with manual handling.

The role will involve working at heights.

Salary - £22,880 based on a core hourly rate of £11 per hour, with separate overtime rates applicable.

When staying away from home, the company arranges for accommodation and an overnight allowance.

To travel between sites, dependent on schedules and site locations site crew will either pick up riggers on route from homes / a pick-up point or the riggers will utilize public transport which you can claim costs back through the travel and expense policy.

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to Construction Manager / Site Manager / Site Foreman, you will assist in erecting and dismantling temporary and permanent grandstands, in accordance with project specific plans and CDM regulations.
