The Terrace is a Michelin-listed restaurant in Yarmouth.
We have a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and harbour and an airy dining room with big bifold windows.
Every summer we serve 200 diners daily which means hiring and training a seasonal team to manage increased customer volumes.
You'll learn a lot about customer service, food, wine, drinks and communication, and there is an opportunity to remain with us as a part-time worker year round.
We look after our seasonal employees. As well as a structured training program that runs at your pace of learning we offer a generous seasonal bonus awarded monthly based on length of service in the season.
Hours are available from 30-55 per-week, and as well as your bonus, tips are split equally among the team and come in at about £3ph over the summer.
The role starts with running food, clearing tables and polishing cutlery. As soon as you are comfortable with how service runs you'll begin using the till and making drinks, then you'll move on to owning your own tables in a section of the restaurant.
To apply you don't need hospitality experience - although it helps! - but you will need a good customer manor and the ability to confidently speak to people. You'll need to be comfortable following clear instructions and asking questions to clarify, and above all you'll need to be reliable and happy to commit to a regular schedule over summer.
