Wild Discovery
An exciting opportunity has become available at Wild Discovery. We are looing to employ a confident, enthusiastic, and passionate education keeper to join our team. The role will be mixed, giving the successful candidate experience in education, animal training and animal husbandry.
The role will support our Education Team in delivering educational talks, animal experiences and educational visits and birthday parties. You will also work with our Animal Training team and support them in the preparation and delivery of our birds displays. The role will also include animal husbandry duties working with a variety of small and large animals to ensure the highest standard of welfare and husbandry is delivered throughout the team.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering talks and presentations to groups of people of all ages, adjusting to specific audience needs. The successful candidate must have exceptional standards of customer service. This post does not require knowledge and experience of caring for a wide range of exotic animals as full in-house training will be provided. Applicants must be flexible and able to work as part of team and alone using their own initiative as well as being friendly, approachable and flexible.
This is a seasonal position with an immediate start and the contract ends on the 30th September 2023. The contract maybe extended depending on business needs.
