About this opportunity
We are looking for talented, enthusiastic team players with a desire to join a well-established and respected environmental consultancy for the upcoming season.
Working alongside our high-performing team of experienced and knowledgeable ecological consultants, you will play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of ecological and environmental based projects, including:
- Assisting with protected species surveys
- Undertaking data consultations and reviewing biological records
- Assisting with habitat surveys
- Assisting with Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
- Pre-survey preparation
- Field recording, data entry and input of survey data
- Drafting environmental reports
Essential Skills / Experience
The skills and experience we require will depend on the grade you are applying for, but we seek the following from our seasonal ecologists:
- Educated to graduate level in a relevant subject
- The ability to work away from home as / when required to undertake surveys as part of a field team (all expenses paid)
- GIS experience desirable (training can be provided)
- CIEEM membership desirable
- CSCS card holder desirable
- Full driving licence
