We are looking for enthusiastic and positive people to join our team of Domestic Assistants to provide excellent cleaning service in our student and commercial guest accommodation.
The Opportunity:
During the summer period, Pollock Halls of Residence accommodates visitors from all around the world. We are looking for positive , upbeat people to join our busy housekeeping team where you will provide a flexible customer focused service across our accommodation, you will be key in ensuring we are delivering excellent standards of cleaning and customer care for all our visitors and guests.
You will interact with a wide range of customers on a daily basis throughout the busy summer period. The successful candidates will play a fundamental role in ensuring our bedrooms and communal areas are cleaned, set up and serviced to hotel standards. You will also assist in the distribution & counting of linen, as well as setting up and maintaining supplies required to service rooms.
As with much of the hospitality industry, weekends can be our busiest times, therefore, weekend work will be required over the summer period.
To be eligible to apply for this role you should have previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (Or the desire to learn quickly), be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have excellent time management skills, as well as be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
Please be aware that these posts will require you to work weekends for the duration of your contract on a rota basis
You must be able to commit to the entire period of employment
