Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Seasonal Chef on to the team who will work at Langtrys Café.
As a Seasonal Chef, you will be required too:
- Ensure the highest possible standard of Food Production and presentation, adhering to menu specification and departmental ‘Standards of Performance’ manual at all time.
- Ensure Food Hygiene Regulations as laid out within Food Hygiene Law are adhered to and that departmental checklists and guidelines regarding Food production and storage etc, are updated, monitored and actioned upon at all time.
- Control purchasing of food produce from nominated suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained whilst monitoring stock rotation / storage and ‘use by date’ markings of all goods in stock.
- Ensure the Kitchen remains a clean, safe and organised environment at all time, highlighting any major Health and Safety issues to Senior management for action.
The successful candidate must be an experienced cook, organised, punctual and efficient. You will have excellent attention to detail, work effectively towards deadlines and due to the high turn-over of customers you must be orderly and able to work under pressure.
